About

Store Norske Litteratur Text Mono is the monospaced companion to Litteratur Text. It carries the same old-style foundation into a fixed-width form, with the heavier weight and lower contrast that distinguish the Text version of the family.

The heavier weight and lower contrast give Litteratur Text Mono a denser, steadier texture. Its generous x-height and short ascenders and descenders keep it closely related to Litteratur Text, while the fixed-width format gives it a distinct monospaced character.

Litteratur Text Mono was developed to sit naturally alongside Litteratur Text in editorial and typographic systems that call for both proportional and monospaced serif forms. It can also be used independently, but its primary role is as a companion within the wider Litteratur family.
